So, at around 5:30am today, when I woke up, I checked Twitter and liked a few posts as normal, when suddenly I got an email saying my account has been suspended for “inauthentic behaviour”.

Fucking what??? All I did was like a few posts, I’ve never done anything out of the ordinary and I’ve never once automated or done weird things with my account.

Funnily enough, two of my friends recently got suspended for the exact same reason, and on r/TwitterHelp and even just searching “inauthentic behaviours” on Twitter directly, it’s obvious that this is affecting a huge amount of people.

What the fuck is going on??? Are the “devs” just adding vibe-coded moderation and just leaving it at that and seeing what happens, immediately deploying it on production??? What’s the fucking point???

This is so fucking dumb.

I’ve already sent an appeal, but haven’t got a reply yet, worst case scenario is that I lose years worth of tweets and a lot of my friends. Best case? I get the account back as if nothing happened.
